Sony is launching a new APS-C hybrid camera, the Alpha 6700. This new top-of-the-range body combines the professional photo and video capabilities of the recent full-frame cameras in the Alpha and Cinema Line ranges, in a body with a new, compact and lightweight design.

Combining the new 26.0 effective megapixel APS-C format Exmor R® back-illuminated CMOS image sensor (pioneered on the FX30) with Sony's advanced, fast and powerful BIONZ XR® processor, the Alpha 6700 delivers outstanding performance while maintaining a compact, lightweight design with clearer operating logic.

The camera supports 4K high-definition video recording at up to 120 fps, a dynamic range of over 14 EV for capturing detail in difficult or low-light conditions, and features such as the S-Cinetone image profile available on professional models in Sony's Cinema Line range, resulting in delicate movies that don't require colour grading and provide stunning flesh-tone reproduction.
