The Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G simultaneously converts SDI signals into optical fiber and optical fiber into SDI in both directions. You can even use a different video standard in each direction! With its 12G-SDI multi-rate connections, it is compatible with all SD, HD and Ultra HD formats and equipment up to 2160p60, including A-level and B-level devices. In addition, you can install a standard 3G, 6G or 12G-SDI fiber optic SFP module to send SDI signals over inexpensive fiber optic cables, commonly used for computer networks.
