BRIGHT TANGERINE - Sliding Top Plate for Sony VENICE 1 & 2

Description

The Top Plate for Sony VENICE 1 & 2 provides a sliding, quick‑release platform for interchangeable dovetails, providing multiple support & accessory mounting options. Pre-configured dovetails can be set up for top handles, gimbal mounts & more.

The front features 15mm LWS rod support for EVFs & lens motors.

- Mounts to the top of Sony VENICE 1 & 2, combines with side & bottom plates to form a rigid cage.
- Interchangeable dovetail plates can be preconfigured plates for handles, gimbal mounts & more
- ARRI standard clamp can be used for dovetail plates or balance plates for underslung setups with multiple safety mechanisms to prevent any accidental release.
- Provides multiple 3/8″ Anti-twist & 1/4″ threads and position for film plane hook on each side.
- 15mm rod mount can be used for EVF mounts, lens motors & other accessories with adjustable vertical position for LWS or low mode. Can also be removed completely if needed.

Additional dovetails (B4002.1070) can be pre-configured with top handles, gimbal top mounts & more, speeding up setup changes.

SAFETY :

The dovetails are secured in place using a 4mm hex key, removing any levers which could get knocked while filming. A dead lock screw can also be engaged, fixing the dovetail in place for a completely rigid top plate.

To remove the dovetail, the orange safety must be pressed before the clamp can be opened allowing for the dovetail to be removed. The ARRI standard clamp can also be used for underslung setups using the dovetail or balance plates.

ACCESSORY MOUNTING :

The top plate also features multiple 1/4″ and anti-twist 3/8″ threads for accessories, with fixing points for the side plates on each side.

The vertical position of the front 15mm LWS rod support can be adjusted to 15mm LWS or low mode for use with EVF mounts & lens motors.
