The CANON RF 10-20mm F4L IS STM is the new L-series lens for professional photo and video shooting. Offering unprecedented possibilities for ultra-wide-angle shooting, it offers unrivalled image quality in a compact format.

Thanks to the capabilities of the RF mount, this lens offers the widest angle-of-field zoom for a full-frame camera. With an angle of view of up to 130° and a zoom range that covers focal lengths from 10 to 20mm, photographers will be able to frame images that are more than twice as wide as those obtained with a 16mm focal length. Photographers will be able to create spectacular panoramas, integrate more elements around a main subject, frame wider in narrow interiors and fully express architectural and landscape views. This new rectilinear lens boasts unrivalled image quality for a wide-angle lens, thanks to an almost total absence of distortion.

The RF 10-20mm F4L IS STM incorporates peripheral image stabilisation control. This new stabilisation system, specifically adapted to an ultra-wide-angle lens, guarantees perfectly sharp hand-held photos and videos free from the phenomenon of wobbling at the edges of the image during travelling videos. Compensation reaches the equivalent of 5 stops in optical stabilisation or 6 stops in combined stabilisation with compatible cameras equipped with IBIS. The constant maximum aperture of f/4 ensures consistent exposures across the entire focal length range, and the most advanced optical coatings eliminate the risk of secondary images and internal reflections that are common with ultra-wide-angle lenses.
