Description

The Lumix DC-GH5 Mirrorless MFT Digital Camera provides an outstanding imaging platform for demanding shooters.

Last of its generation, the GH5 features a 20.3-megapixel sensor and a newly developed Venus Engine processor, which both offer dramatically improved processing times over the GH4.

This enables the GH5 to record 4K video at up to 60 fps with 400Mbps (4K) and 200Mbps (HD) codecs, 4:2:2 10-bit internal or simultaneous internal/external recording with select settings. The camera can also record Full HD video at up to 180 fps, has 12 fps continuous shooting, and has a sensitvity of up to ISO 25600.

In the settings, the camera offers a high-resolution anamorphic mode and a 4K Hybrid Log-Gamma, along with variable frame rates and anamorphic recording.

It features a built-in 5-axis sensor stabilization, which can work with certain lenses to activate Dual I.S. 2 for highly effective shake correction that can compensate for up to 5 stops of shutter speed. The autofocus system Advanced DFD can lock on in just 0.05 seconds.

The resolution of the OLED viewfinder and the touchscreen has been improved (resolution bumps to 3.65m dots and 1.62 dots respectively), as well as the design, the GH5 is now freezeproof down to 14 degrees F / -10 degrees.

For fast image transfer and saving, there are now two UHS-II SD card slots. Additionally, for a completely wireless setup it offers both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for advanced functionality when paired with a mobile app.
