A large diameter to cover the frame of a full-format sensor. An optical performance equivalent to that of a fixed lens, regardless of the focal length. These are the principles that guided the design of the SIGMA 24-35mm F2 DG HSM. It covers three of the most common major angular focal lengths of premium fixed optics - 24mm, 28mm and 35mm - united in one lens. To ensure attractive full-aperture bokeh, Sigma designed the first zoom for the full-size constant aperture F2.
With a minimum focusing distance of 28cm and a maximum zoom ratio of 1: 4.4, it is suitable for proxiphotography, portrait with attractive bokeh and landscape photography. The photographer actually has three wide angle lenses without having to change them. And while it is often difficult to obtain harmonious blurred backgrounds at a wide angle, the large diameter provides a very large aperture and impressive visual effects.
