Description

The first full-size 70-300mm E-type zoom provides exceptional resolution across the entire image. It also lets you get close to great close-ups and details with a minimum focus of 0.9 meters. The built-in SteadyShot Optical Stabilizer effectively compensates for camera movement, from near focus to telephoto, while an advanced linear actuator ensures fast, accurate autofocus. It is also resistant to dust and moisture.

The range from 70 to 300 mm covers a wide range of subjects, from portraits to landscapes, sports and nature. On an APS-C camera, 300mm becomes an ultra-powerful 450mm telephoto lens.

Four aspherical elements and two ED glass lenses, combined with Sony's Nano anti-reflective coating, deliver outstanding image resolution and a stunning bokeh effect in the background with the Sony G lens.

The minimum focus distance of just 0.9 meters and maximum magnification of 0.31x allows you to get closer to capturing macro telephoto detail and perspective.
