Description

The F-7H mk2 is a 7’’ 1920x1080 resolution field monitor that offers max. luminance of 3,600nits with enhanced sharpness and peaking boost function via new image processing engine. While delivering the same high quality picture and professional features of the previous model, F-7H mk2 shows far less reflection with Anti-Glare film and faster access to frequent preset modes via front touch keys.

The F-7H mk2 displays the level of the integrated audio signal as well as the video signal received via the terminal, such as SDI or HDMI. The red and green channels are not used and only the blue or monochrome channel is used to display the screen. This function adjusts the colour tones (tones and saturation) of the screen using the SMPTE color bar. For example, after displaying the blue channel, adjust the colour (or saturation) and tint (or tint) so that the original magenta and cyan have the same brightness and the original grey and blue have the same brightness. For focusing the F-7H mk2 assigns a color to the pixels located at the edge of the image to inform the user of the best focus.
With this function, the user can easily differentiate the focused area from the focused area, especially when shooting with a shallow depth of field. For the H/V Flip, this monitor allows you to check the deletion area and synchronize the signals by displaying the horizontal and vertical intervals in the center of the screen.For the Luma Zone Check (Y ') the F-7H mk2 displays different types of image formats on the screen. A wide range of markers and safety zones are available with a selection of line color and curtain transparency. A user marker is available if one of the standard markers meets your needs. The maximum brightness on/off displays brightness increases from normal to maximum brightness to obtain a sharp and bright image when shooting outdoors. The monitor anahlyses the information of luma (Y ') and chroma (C') of the input signal and if the input signal exceeds the minimum and maximum value designated, the pixel must flash. This function helps the user to easily identify unwanted signal levels and to obtain a better exposure setting. The F-7H mk2 displays Timecode information on the screen, adjusts the display width/height ratio, Controls the size of the image, amplifies the input signal from 0% to 90%, applies Luts to the outgoing log signal.ARRI ALEXA metadata is routed via the camera SDI outputs and displayed on the monitor. Perfectly adapted to anamorphic lenses and image formats. When you take an anamorphic shot, the image you are monitoring is a “no clamp” view of what is being recorded.
The HDR emulation function allows users to check the appearance of an HDR image instead of the shot. The adjustable modes are PQ, HLG and Slog3.
Load your 3D-LUT creation files into NLE software such as Davinci Resolve by USB flash memory and display your LUT on VFM-055A or F-7H. Once the Luts are synchronized on the monitor, you can easily modify them in production.
