Description

The Advanced kit includes a 15mm LWS baseplate, camera cage, top handle, 8" safety dovetail plate, and two 15mm rods that can function in handheld shoots and on stationary rigs. For kits with different features, see the Wooden Camera Unified Base kit or the Unified Pro Kit that includes a 12" Safety Dovetail and a Micro Battery Slide Pro.

The open-style camera cage features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads, front 3/8"-16 threads for an optional lens adapter or support, an Arca-type dovetail camera plate, and a lower quick release plate. The 8" safety dovetail plate mounts below the baseplate and provides additional mounting options as well as support for heavier rigs. The included 12" rod pair fits in the baseplate and offers mounting points for accessories such as a matte box, follow focus, lens support, or lens motors.

The top handle attaches to the cage using its 3/8"-16 thumbscrew and provides a convenient, secure way to hold your camera, and it features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads.
